I understand the argument behind websites having a processing fee. But some websites are simply abusing this now and using it to charge ridiculous amounts of “fees”. Let’s look at Party Pete for example.

100m Orders = $0.49/m but the fee is something like 18%? When does Paypal, Visa, or even IDEAL charge 18% processing fees?

I get that processors charge fees, but come on? The justification of “Pete set it to that idk” is not a reason to charge 4-5x the actual processing fee.

    PayPal Fee structure: https://www.paypal.com/business/fees

Nowhere in the PayPal fee structure is there any value mentioned remotely close to 18%.

He is free to charge what he wants - Paypal has obvious risks involved with chargebacks and disputes.

This is not a scam report
