Help!!!

so Ive got this mac, don't flam on me having a mac.. i know theres a certain someone i have in mind that will anyways.. lol, buttt heres my problem.

I forgot my password to my mac, oh fuck. but I have to where it logs me in automatically when I start up, but the thing is, I can't update iTunes to get to use my ipod touch on it, I cant download any programs, update anything..
I was wandering if anyone here knew how to reset my password without the disc, I lost that thing ages ago.. I'eve googled it and had no luck with the results I was given, someone help..

If you've got an external hardrive with all of your crap saved onto it, you could always reboot the whole computer. I don't know a lot about macs, but that would work if you have it saved to the external harddrive.

I didn't know there were instillation discs to reboot your comp, I thought that was just for extra software 0.0

Honestly, I've experienced more stability and functionality on Mac than Windows.

Not to mention Mac is made for x64, and is capable of much better hardware than Any x86 computer (native Windows). x86 RAM limit: 3GB. x64 Mac Pro: 8GB RAM. And the list goes on. The x64 architecture is really something to marvel at, and rather than emulating CPU instructions like Windows does, Mac has full optimization because the programs are actually made for x64. (note: That entire paragraph was a whirl of wharrgarbl - I'm not bothering to check whether I'm right or not, so if I'm wrong I couldn't care. All I know is x64 hardware is superior).

Stankin: You can legally download the disk if you actually do own it - regardless of whether you lost it or not, or just buy the disk - it aint expensive.

He uses Mac, and he doesn't wanna use Window$. Therefore, provide him with advice to do with MACINTOSH and MAC OSX FOR FUCKS SAKE. He doesn't care if you think he should install Windows or not - He likes Mac, and I use anything solong as it works - Mac, Linux and Windows all work, therefore I'm unbiased towards any of them in terms of functionality.
