Euthanasia

I'd wanna die if I was a vegetable who only felt pain and couldn't think, hear, see, or talk. That's fucking hell.

 

They're actually planning to take the 'under god' part out of the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

In god we trust on the money is talking about the Egyptian Sun god Horus..not the God we know as 'Jesus'.

I believe Euthanasia should be legalized. If you don't think so, imagine this.
Your laying in a bed, the same one you have been for over 20 years. All you feel is pain, you don't know if the people you loved are still alive. You can't hear, see, or speak. Sounds fun, eh?

It's called pulling the plug.

That is legal with the consent of the closest relative.

Basically they disconnect you from life support and let you die.

I think doing that would be more pain then injecting a serum into me and quickly and hopefully painless way of killing me.Or ending the pain i am in..

i agree with his ending statement about f its a 15% chance or less, the thing is then people will just argue about the %, i believe, if you can get a signed doctors certificate, and you agree obviously to the cause then yes, but obviously the doctor would bear a massive weight on his sholders deciding if this guy
a- lives in pain till he MAY be treated or
b- end his life to find out later he could have cured him


its a difficult subject but i think you will find not ALOT of cases were they can't just "do it" themselves, but when you do find that case your heart truley does go out to that person

 

Id allow them to die. Isnt making someone suffer for months upon years like tourture? and isnt that illegal? So, Law against Law. Which wins?

Kind of like how manslaughter isn't quite murder. It isn't directly torturing them but by the fact that you don't help them out of their pain, with their concent, is an indirect form of torture.

 

well "putting them out of there pain" being obviously killing is accessory to murder

i believe in it. if you love the person why would you want to see them suffer? and if they want top be put to sleep then that is fine.

I don't see why you religious people think euthanasia is such a horrible thing. Although I detest the thought of anyone every believing such a place, would you go to heaven, taking into consideration you have done no evil? I mean honestly, you've been on life support, wasting electricity, your families money, and the time of doctors that could be used to save someone who has a chance. All your doing is good for us, and possibly yourself.

 

I believe Euthanasia should be legal but only under certain conditions. Firstly, The docters in his/her department should vote on what her chances are. If 2/3s of the docters agree he/she is terminal and should "go to sleep" and the patient agrees, so be it. Secondly, there should be a written document that states the indivual wants to "sleep." In conclusion, Euthanasia needs to be legal under the above stated circumstances.
