Sleep Paralysis

I experienced this a few nights ago for the first time and must say it is probably the scariest thing i have come across in my life, people will most probably think i sound crazy but this is what happened;

It was a normal night and everything im pretty sure nothing was different or anything and i slept normally but in the morning i woke up facing up and i couldnt move my body at all and the window was open with a white light coming out of it, out of nowhere this strange man sort of figure came out the window of light and was just standing there. I could'nt move my body or anything one bit all i could do was stand and watch, it was so realistic and scary. About a minute later i just kind of bumped out of it and could move again, i was so curious and freaked out about it i looked into what it was and found out it was called sleep paralysis.

So just wondering whos experienced this before?
I have to say it was probably the scariest thing i have experienced in my life.

I dont know what you just said, but i know what sleep paralysis is, im asking of other peoples experiences and opinions.

Yea, I had something simular.

I woke up in my bed in the same situation as you (facing up).

But I was looking straight up at the ceiling. And I heard 2 voices, one of them partly familiar. And it sounded like they were godly, deep and old. It sounded like they were fighting over me, and I felt cold, clammy hands grabbing my left arm, and warm, soft hands grabbing my right arm. and it was kind of jerking. I was so terrified I just passed out. Woke up all sweaty.

It is also called 'Night Terrors', and can be related to Pre-seizure activities if you have ad seizures in the past. Or your brain overly stressed out and just reacting in a wierd way.


If you wake up holding your winky after a night terror, you made it out alive, and possibly gotten laid.

This COULD be determined as sleep paralysis but also a night terror ( your basically living a nightmare for a short time) its terrible. My gym teacher jumped out of his bedroom window during one.

Could be caused by stress, lack of sleep, or both.

This is quite strange, My family lived in a trailer one summer due to financial issues, and Every couple nights I would wake up and there would be 2 flying swords of blue just flying around the moter home, I never told anyone but it freaked me out quite a bit.

Not sure if this is relivent after reading it but i will still post.

And the story about the cold hands and warm hands was quite interesting like spiderman almost.

ive had something similar, i wake up at night and i feel like theres some guy right at my face so i woke up and i had a scared face for like 10 seconds

Yeah, that's pretty nasty. I once woke up in the middle of the night to see a shadow standing at one end of the room. I closed my eyes, and it turned into a man dressed in a black tuxedo with red exclamation marks all over it. Couldn't see his face, and still don't know whether it was "just" a dream. Haven't slept much since =\

I have came a cross a couple of this but nothing like the one you experienced... My dreams become lucid once im aware of whats going on, was studying this subject for a while back then but i have partly forgot it all lol Just look up lucid dreaming.


Well anyways back to the topic.... I had this one dream where i was actually flying/jumping from roof to roof... it felt like i was flying rofl... it felt so realistic this usually happens when you have some REM (rapid eye movement) its a stage that you reach after a couple.... i don't know but you just do some research on that subject

Also had another dream where we i was flying in a airline called taca going to El Salvador haha.... When suddenly we were struck by something and the plane started spiraling downward, while pratically being forced on top i realised it was a dream and somehow was able to controll gravity (basically float and do as i wish, no physical law retaining me from doing as i wished....) it was pretty weird lol.... i also have a log of dreams i have on my computer and just write them down and try to recall them as much as i can. Actually used to have one lol... i kind of got tired of writing them down, it had no effect on my lucid dreaming thoe lol... But yeah its kind of hard to explain this dreams...

Okay im tired of writing now lol just do some research on lucid dreaming on google, i think it will grab you're attention.
