Please Help Me Find A Good Pc.

Hello everyone I've recently joined sythe.org because i think a lot of you guys know a lot about computers. I therefore need some of your help to find the perfect pc for myself.

What i'm looking for:


Ram: 3 gb
Hardrive: 500 gb
processor: intel core quad
graphic card: GeForce with 256 mb ( or a good one )
Dual-layer burner with lightscribe

Price range of 1000$ - 1300$ ( mabye slightly bit more )


I need one from a store in Canada:

Example: Bestbuy, futureshop, thesource, staples or something in canada that i can access to.

Please Feel free to post a picture of the best and description here and i will thank everyone who could help me.

Lol, I've seen over 100 computers that have 3 gb of ram and 500 gb or hardrive for less then 1300. This just shows the stupidity of people these days. If you have nothing better to say gtfu of my thread.

I don't have time to get a build list for you so I just went for the package. You could probably build it for a bit cheaper (say $200)

But does amazon deliver it to a local store because i don't want to pay it online unless i receive pc at same time.

They'll deliver it to your door. With the first one you get a $30 rebate (dunno about other one didn't check). Shipping would probably be around the $30-$50 maybe even cheaper. Just add it to a cart > Checkout > Create an account and it will show you how much shipping costs.
 
tbh all the comps posted are basically the same with a few minor variations, i say props goes to cool372 cuz he posted the first one. It all comes down basically to the convenience of obtaining the product, but they all basically the same HP Pavilion 6600.

Don't buy any of these computers. They are all rip offs and have the crappiest video cards. Instead, make your own computer. It is way better because you can overclock, upgrade, and you have all quality parts. Here is the build I have made for you, Newegg doesn't ship to Canada but base your ideas of this list.

This build beats the hp pavilion by a mile because it has a top of the line graphic card to play all the newest games such as COD 4 and Crysis. You can overclock this making it much faster. If you want to save a little money, wait until the case is on sale or has a rebate, it frequently is always on a sale.

you cant expect that the person has the time and knowledge to build a computer. and your getting ripped off with the ram

It's a great thing that you dont prefer mac's. I think mac's are shit. Are you looking for a laptop or desktop? Go with the brand HP for a laptop... Anyways... Just suggesting some things.

The graphic card on the computer WTP suggested is a LOW end graphic card. The one on mine is top of the line graphic cards.

You can not overclock, so that means you are going to lose peformance then what you can have on a custom built computer.

WTP, that computer isnt even close on being better. The computer from best buy will not even be able to handle Oblivion on high or call of duty 4, or age of empires. The 8500gt is a cheap graphics card that goes for 40 dollars. The 8800gt is top of the line shit, and can play the highest games out there.

That doesn't meet his prerequisites.
He said a good graphics card not a top of the line beast (although that one is pretty good for the price)
Doesn't have 3GB Ram.
Some of the stuff is OEM as well.

Once again you cant expect that the person has the time and knowledge to build a computer. And the buyer wants to be able to pick it up at the store. And overclocking can ruin you CPU i not done correctly and voids the warranty.

I still say he gets http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....roduct detail and then finds a graphics card at best buy that he likes.
 
First, you never buy computer parts at best buy. They charge an 8600gts for a near 230 dollars which you can get the best for that price. All I am trying to say is that best buy rips people off with there computer. The 8500gt isnt a good graphic card btw, its not considered good at least. Get a 7900gs or a x1950.

Go ahead and buy the computer, but Im just saying you could either get the samae for alot cheaper or alot better for the same price.
