Please help

I keep getting a error when I try to link pictures in my thread through gyazo as well as imgur. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I just copy and paste the image url into the add picture function in my tools and I get that error.

 

right click an image and click copy image address

When you click on that link you provided, drag the picture to the URL bar and release it. This will give you a link like i.imgur.pic/...

You need the put that link in between

The reason why you couldn't attach your original link:
Imgur

was because of the /a/ in the url, which stands for it being an album (where you can attach multiple images).

 

So I'd type that code in front of my img url? I tried blazes method with long tapping, but I dont get option as I'm on mobile.

 

You would type

[IMG]image URL.png[/IMG]

 

I tried removing the /a/ and doing it like https:/ /imgur.com/QqbpJjY but that doesn't seem to work either. (The space in between https:/ / is intentional to show you guys)

 

I tried that code and I'm still getting the same error. I'm on mobile if this effects anything.

You can't just remove that. For example say, I have this screenshot from sharex:

Which I can link like so:



If I go to imgur.com and "create a new post" and paste this url: https://i.imgur.com/yQ3ZQql.png (of the picture above),

It'll turn it into an album url, which looks like this: Imgur (again with the /a/ similar to your original link)

I can't attach this link. You can paste the url but not link it to show the image on thread.

Solution:

Right click the album link, click "open in new tab" and you'll see this url instead:
https://i.imgur.com/8VXpsRi.png. Which works just fine

 

its easier to use imgur as a guest if youd like to upload pictures I find.

>get share links
>copy bbc code
>pasta to Sythe

Aside of the above, the most important part you're missing was the extension code (.jpg/.png). This won't fix it indeed when it links to an album though, thanks for the help guys, closed.
