Sythe generates 0.2% of our overall traffic so if we have to leave the site it's not the biggest deal. We are not asking for special privileges, but rather to continue doing business as we have for the past 10 years. The real focus should be on preserving the community and protecting users from scams and fraudulent users rather than running off legitimate businesses who don't fit into this cookie cutter rule.

I mean I asked the same thing of @Sythe on this thread. He seems to rather have multi-millon dollar business's abandon the forum over some stickys. Its his forum ultimately :l.

The irony of 2 direct competitors agreeing is not lost on me. When you and I agree someone fucked up big time lol. That's like Bogla and Pie or someone coming together to fight a stance.

 

It's amusing how clueless most of these users are is it not? Sythe continues to lose influence as the forum drops in community every day yet we are the ones receiving dictator like PM's telling us to do something or else..

I didn't state Sythe was dead. I said it's dying. Your continuous rock-head hardness about refusing to help sellers AT ALL is what is killing it. I can name 10 companies that have left this forum in 2018 alone voluntarily that still operate off Sythe.

I mean you seem oblivious that you've gone to far in favor of buyers. That's why this is in feedback. Do you know how often I make feedback threads? I think I've made 3 in all my time on Sythe. I don't bother you lightly nor do I talk shit about this forum lightly but someone has to say what needs to be said.

Unlike others I am at least offering some stances and ways to at least balance things out instead of just saying "forums dead" - I put forward some solutions.

There's nothing difficult or complicated about listing the details of what you are selling in your sales thread. I'm closing this.

The site isn't dying despite 15 years of people claiming that it is. Forcing people who make sales threads to actually specify what they are selling is not going to kill it. You continue to waste my time.
