Range Tanker?

Hey,
I was thinking of making and Range Tanker for pking, castle wars and dueling.
I would probably get 50 range and 40 defence.
Is their lots of money to be made from Range Tankers and are the very effective?

I would not recommend getting a tanker low lvl like that..
For pking at that combat you wont get much kills, and you wont do good at castle wars either.
If you really want a tanker i would say get atleast 75 ranged and if you are going to pk f2p you could try to make it a range 2her.
If you do much castle waring i'd say put 70 def.

I think I would be f2p pking most of the time with steel arrows then if I don't
get that many kills I will make the defence and range higher wearing dhide with yew bow. If I then get more kills I will make it a member and use members items will that make it more effective?
Also how are Range Tankers in dueling?

70 range

50 def
70 range

90 range

70+ def
90+ range

DO NOT .. use d bow if ur a tanker.. there to slow.. i recommend..

Full rune helm..
D hide top
Rune legs..
magic bow
100 - 150 rune arrows
rune c bow
3 - 6 of the best bolts u can get

range them with mage bow then spec.. then c bow them

Now that staking is ruined, make him a pker, and you'll want higher range than 50

I would like to keep in around combat level around 40 but
I think I might have to go higher to get more kills whilst pking.

yea tankers are really good-i got one i have 50 def. and 70range it doesnt cost to much either.
