The Holocaust (from the Greek ὁλόκαυστον (holókauston): holos, "completely" and kaustos, "burnt"), also known as Ha-Shoah (Hebrew: השוא&#1492, Churben (Yiddish: חורב&#1503, is the term generally used to describe the killing of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, as part of a program of deliberate extermination planned and executed by the National Socialist regime in Germany led by Adolf Hitler.

Other groups were persecuted and killed by the regime, including the Roma, Soviets (particularly prisoners of war); ethnic Poles; other Slavic people; the physically or mentally disabled; gay men; religious dissidents such as Jehovah's witnesses, and political dissidents. Many scholars do not include these groups in the definition of the Holocaust, defining it as the genocide of the Jews, or what the Nazis called the "Final Solution of the Jewish Question." Taking into account all the victims of Nazi persecution, the death toll rises considerably: estimates generally place the total number of victims at nine to 11 million.

The persecution and genocide were accomplished in stages. Legislation to remove the Jews from civil society was enacted years before the outbreak of World War II. Concentration camps were established in which inmates were used as slave labour until they died of exhaustion or disease. Where the Third Reich conquered new territory in eastern Europe, specialized units called Einsatzgruppen murdered Jews and political opponents in mass shootings. Jews and Roma were crammed into ghettos before being transported hundreds of miles by freight train to extermination camps where, if they survived the journey, the majority of them were killed in gas chambers. Every arm of Germany's bureaucracy was involved in the logistics of the mass murder, turning the country into what one Holocaust scholar has called "a genocidal nation.

He was a hero to the Nazi Party, not necessary the German people.

Some innocent German people also went through hardships and losses. For example, when Hitler drafted the young kids to fight, and they were killed.

The term "holocaust" is a jewish word put to disguise what actually happened during Hitler's reign. Most of us have been fooled about this "holocaust", but others really understand the truth. There weren't even nearly 6 million jews killed. These jews claim that they were the only race that Hitler wanted to exterminate. This is what they use as their justification for their acts of injustice that take place nowadays. They want people to feel sorry for them, and by being so naive, look at the jews now: they are in control of the media, politics, and in some places, people! Do not believe everything that is said to you. Don't be the average American. I am American, and I am sad to say that my country is ran by a zionist, who is told what to do by people of a religion that contains the least amount of people in comparison to the other 2 Abrahamic religions. What does this tell you? It simply tells you we have been fooled. Not only did we vote for Bush once, but also when he was up for re-election. America is falling apart, and it's all because of us.
