Impersonator in Runescape Acc Section

Hello,

I'm not quite sure if this is the right place to post this, but someone has been impersonating me and trying to scam people in the Runescape account section.

He mimic'd my sythe name on discord and has been adding people trying to scam their accounts. I don't even have my discord advertised on any page and my discord isn't the same as my name.

The worst part is he is using a link to my sythe profile to scam people (see proof #1) below. This has caused a few people to question my rep and I've lost a few sales because of it.

This has apparently been going on for a few days. I just got his discord name from one of the guys today to make this post. He must have saw my post in the runescape account section and decided to mimic me. Which I don't even know why he would choose me since I'm not even the most trusted/active member.

Is it possible to put an alert in the runescape account buying section or somehow figure out this guys sythe name?

Can confirm this is happening, here is the full conversation I had with the impostor.

 

You can't prevent the dumb from getting scammed, people will always get imposter scammed. What you can do is read threads such as the ones below:

In this thread you're referring to your Discord imposter "wetskins#4406". I've done a little research on the #4406 ID and found this match. This guy might be totally irrelevant to this report, but he's a ban evader for sure which I have just reported. Possibly this solves it, possibly it does not. Either way:

I can highly advice continueing this, as it surely will prevent some scams from happening. Other than that, always request all your customers to request a PM from you on Sythe. Other than that, without an actual Sythe profile there's nobody we can really ban here. Warning all users about your imposter is nonsense, everyone has imposters and sadly people will always keep falling for such scams because the average human being is beyond stupid, but I can assure you we're well aware of the existance of impersonators and we'll do our utmost best to prevent most scams from happening.
