account got hacked

my account lloveboobs got hacked. I am posting this off of my brothers account. I have screenshot proof but idk how to get it to skype (email that says your email address has been set to af12f12f23*****@gmail.com.com or some shit like that, added stars in case mods get mad for exposure idk??)

lmk if this is even the right place to be posted. The hacker also got 10m off my rs account.

i havent been on sythe in a week or so. I tried to get on a few days ago but it said my pass was wrong but i didnt have much time so i forgot. So today my osrs account gets hacked. Since i have a pin he didnt get everything but got away with a archer ring 13k rune arrows a fury and something like 3k mith darts. So i was kinda pissed (roughly half my bank) and decided to go to sythe to compare gold prices but I find i cant login again....

so i try to reset it via email. I get up for a smoke break come back and no email yet. So i try again, play some rs. No email. So i search sythe at the top think huh maybe it got directed into spam. and thats when i see this:

i posted a screenshot but i really dont know howto mess with it to make it more zoomed in.

also not sure if im viewing it right but it looks like the user that put the ban request against me has only 1 forum post by him.... and its the "ban lloveboobs" one. Also he called me a ban evader......im honestly confused. I have a discord, but its not the one he posted.

This is literally EVERYTHING I know about this.

Either way im not sure im even gonna use sythe anymore becasue gold is cheaper elsewhere. Buying accounts is super sketchy, i myself have lost over $500 buying accounts (over 2.5 years) to get them recovered a month or so later. Ive really just started my main up and the only reason is because im scared of losing not just money, but the time i put into the account. For all intensive purposes buying accounts is stupid and sythe shouldnt condone it because it is by far the easiest way to scam anyone. That being said i would still like to keep my sythe account because those vouches are legit and I hate questing.

 

If you want to keep your account & do the right thing, pay back the scam victim, then dispute the ban. After all, it was your lack of security that let this happen (use 2fa!).

 

MY lack of security? lmao i think its sythes lack of security seeing as how my account got comprised on sythe FIRST on August 4th and my rs account today AFTER i got hacked on sythe. I dont even know how much im supposed to payback becasue the victim doesnt have a buy or sell thread on sythe! I still cant even log onto my account that was banned.......

also i do feel bad for the guy because losing your own account that you made is incomparably worse than the days work it take to buy a decent main. That being said I understand why you make people whos accounts may or may not have hacked assume the responsibility for any scamming done.

 

Unless you posted your account details on sythe in your PM's or something, there's no way a hacker could gain access to your rs account through sythe. (unless you use the same login info). 2FA is thoroughly advised. Further, how would the hacker recover the RS account, surely they'd need the creation IP?

 

straight up i cant answer any question about the scam because i literally dont know anything about it. I dont know if it was a maxed main or a pure or a skiller or a fucking tutorial island account. I literally dont know how much im expected to pay. Clearly my rs password was the same as my sythes account. which yes it was a mistake. im sure my username is somewhere in the pms i sold both rotmg items and cards for GP at times. Can i have a link to the selling/buying post. All i see in the guys scammer report is a dude with the same discord as my sythe. and he didnt even say anything incriminating... idk if im viewing it wrong but idk why thats all thats needed for evidence....

Yeah, you can 100% blame me but it wont change the fact that whoever scammed the other guy has the account or gold and mine was just a scapegoat. if the hacker had a convo with the seller on sythe why dont u cross reference it to my other chat logs? Did you do any investigation or just going to pull out the ban hammer like a trigger happy crackhead. Now i have a DNT on my brothers account (that he doesnt and never will use so it doesnt really matter in the scheme of things but its just the principle) because i was just tryna contact the mods about this...

 

Hi i'm just another user like you, so there's very little i can do for you. I get that you're frustrated and i would be too, but its best to just contact a member of staff directly as they can easily find out what the exact ban reason was, and how much is owed etc etc. Join the sythe discord https://www.sythe.org/discord and attempt to contact the members of staff which can be seen in the right hand column. its been a long time and still 0 help. still banned and still 0 contact about what account got stolen looks like the mods just dont want to help me. Now i cant get any account services done becasue i cant give vouches. What a bunch of great mods.

ive pmed wortel on this site a few times and now i cant do it anymore. For example I pmed him asking to open this post so i could comment again and now I cant PM him anymore and have had 0 response regarding the hacking despite asking more than once for the details on how much i am obligated to pay.

I agree that would be a good way to contact them but id rather not have my discord be linked with this either since wortel already said he doesnt believe me without talking to me first..... sounds like a witch hunt to me. I wonder how many people hes wrongly banned.... doesnt seem like a moderator worthy person to me..

 

Create another discord account if you don't want to reveal any history with your current ID...
Wortel has conveniently linked you your scam report and the victim that you must repay in order to move forward with the pardon/dispute.

Just looked at it again and couldnt honestly even find actual proof of my account even scamming him its just a screen shot of a discord account (which is not mine) saying "haha yes"...
but just look at the dudes post. it doesnt even have any hard proof. he even admits that he knew he got scammed and after the guy UNBLOCKED him he still willingly gave him the pin???? who does that?

Its honestly not my fault i go on sythe once every few weeks and after 6+ years my account gets hacked. I HAVE NEVER BEEN HACKED BEFORE ON ANY WEBSITE OR PLATFORM other than runescape (twice in 10 years, 1 of which was a few days after the hacker got into my sythe, i know this because i cross referenced my emails and say the day my registered email (on sythe) was changed because i wanted to know how the fuck i got hacked for basically my bank. If it werent for the fact that i got hacked on rs I wouldnt have came to sythe until a few weeks later and as is was already too late). The email that i used to register to sythe with, ive had for years, like over 9+. SO you can imagine work emails+all the other bs that come in. I dont have the will, the time nor the fucks to read every single email I get. I for a fact know i dont have a virus on my computer, and i know for a fact i didnt get in some phishing site either.

 

still nothing. Mods suck i guess. They literally do not want to fix this. Ive tried to find out how much i am supposed to pay but its impossible. GG........
