Hello! For you that got a RWT ban, how many hours/days/weeks etc did it take before you got banned? I bought 25 mil a week ago and I kinda regret it so I just want to know how long time it took before you recieved a ban. I will only buy bonds for now.

 

Lol, don't worry. The chance of you getting banned for that are very unlikely. You'd have to be the unluckiest person in the world to get a RWT ban for that.

 

I know there is a low risk. I just started playing again and was low on gold so I bought 25m but I will be buying more like 50-100m and I dont feel 100% comfortable doing that anymore. So thats why I regret it I could just bought 10 bonds instead of 26m but I was a little bit low on cash so I took the cheaper alternative. Still curious tho, feels like it should be within a month. Iv'e been buying over 100m in total before but that was a year ago.

 

Is the risk really that low? Was looking into buying around 75M or so but am a little weary myself. Would like to get someone elses opinion.

 

Honestly, if you're just using your main account the risks are minimal. They don't target buyers, they target sellers.

 

Im pretty sure buyers done even get permed unless its bills. Its a 2 week ban iirc

 

RWT is always a permanent ban. However, unless you're buying billions and billions on end you will never get banned as a buyer.

 

Selling will always result in a perm ban, buyers have a less severe punishment I think

They target sellers not buyers and even then it’s people who are selling large amounts of gold consistently. That’s what I’ve noticed from experience, can’t say for definite

 

I have sold around 2.5b from the same account, been like 5 months nothing happen to me. although i would recommend buying and selling at like 11pm+ GMT.

 

I think you’re safe at a low amount. There is risk though, albeit minimal.

 

It is extremely unlikely you would be banned for that, the risk is nearly non existent unless you are moving massive amounts of GP at once and 25M isn't a huge amount. Don't worry about you it will be fine, plus it is usually the sellers who get banned not the buyer and that is only on the very rare occasion that Jagex catches you for RWT GP.

 

higher chance of u getting promoted to pmod for buying 25m then being banned for rwt because of it

 

I sold 9b on a low level account and its not banned. Also sold prob 20-30b on a high level over past 2 years thats still not banned

Very unlikely, it also depends on how old your account is and how much you play on it, if your account is very old and you play a lot, hell no, no way in hel lyour getting banned. If your shit is brand new and you literally just stake and what not, maybe but still unlikely, you need to have more at risk.

 

you're lucky you're not banned yet , my opinion quit your account start new one and buy some gold with bonds , because surely very soon you will receive a message saying that your account is banned .

You wont get banned for buying 25m

 

If you aren't banned in a week I think you should be fine. Though 25m is a very very small amount so you shouldn't be worried.
