Angryosshole Ban Appeal

All,

Long time Sythe member under the name Angryosshole. I've been away from RS for years but recently came back. I just discovered Angryosshole is banned for scamming. This wasn't me and it seems like it was known my account was hacked (Angryosshole is a scammer). However, on further research I found this thread...Cherry G. It seems like the person who accused me of scamming was also the one who hacked my account?

I can provide details such as the emails that may have been registered to Angryosshole years ago. I also rented out a rune miner a good bit which I still have an can show that still own that account. Not sure that would prove anything. I've moved several times over the years with work but I can provide the city and states that I posted from. If there's anything else that I can provide that would show this was my account then let me know.

Lastly, if there's anyone that Angryosshole did scam then I can look into repaying that back since it was my account.

Any update that either one of you can provide? If you're still looking into this then that's fine, but I wanted to make sure it's not just sitting because everyone thinks someone else is taking action.

I have asked @Charlotte regarding this and she said @Shin would look into this.

I spoke with @Shin on discord and he stated that he answered all of @Charlotte questions a few days ago. Also, he's not sure why this is being shifted to him.

Who is actually going to be looking into this appeal? I don't want to come off as impatient or needy but it seems this has been passed around a few times without any action.

After a review of your account and the person you supposedly scammed, it seems as though it was faked in an attempt to extort. The person who was scammed may or may not have been responsible for hacking you, we're not sure, but regardless it all seems very staged and we are not going to have you repay for the scam that had occurred.

In order to recover your account, please head over to Account Recovery & Creation

What I will need from you: In short, proof of ownership. We will want you to be posting from a home IP connected to your account. If you are a donor, include amount & day you donated. As for other info, there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on your account so hopefully you can provide those two things.
