3 Step Guide to using Chopsticks

Here is a guide on how to use chopsticks.


I will refer to fingers 1,2,3,4 and 5 (Pictured below)

Step 1. Position the first chopstick above finger 4 or 3 whichever you wish to. Have all the fingers below your first chopstick parallel to eachother.

Step 2. If you have placed the chopstick above finger 4 rest finger 3 on the chopstick.

Step 3. Now take your second chopstick and grip it with fingers 1 & 2

Your Done!

To move the top chopstick all you have to do is straighten fingers 1 & 2 to make it rise and bend fingers 1 & 2 to make it clamp. Becoming good at using chopsticks is not that hard, all you need is a bit of patience and some chopsticks

TBH I never really knew how to use chopsticks. I'll go try tonight because i'm going to the Iron Moto Restaurant this Friday with family so i'll have to use these probably

Not really productive guide..but I suppose if you want to learn to use chopsticks you've come to the right thread .

 

lmao.. an ok topic for a guide lol i never knew how to eat with chopsticks i always ate with a fork, i guess this guide could be useful the next time i go to a chinese restaurant lol

haha i always had these chopsticks that stuck together on top so they were really easy to use

 

Doesn't it teach you how to use chopsticks on the wrapper at chinese restaurants? Anyways, this isn't that bad of a guide, but most people use forks instead
