3 Free scripts to free Powerbot account?

I'm a bit late onto this but i only just felt like looking up why my powerbot wasn't working properly and found this, seems a bit of a pointless update to me http://www.powerbot.org/community/topic/848853-all-your-scripts-gone-heres-the-answer-3-script-limit-for-free-users/

Sucks. You can just add and remove as needed but its really annoying to be honest because it doesnt change anything really its just extra hastle they added for no reason.

 

I don't know why they did this. It will take us more time to run a script.

 

well i was wondering what was going on. do they know they are committing suicide? 1st they limit free users bots now this... nice

Oh, wow. Dick move. I guess the scripts are free anyway, so we shouldn't be too upset that something free is gone.

 

That's a marketing ploy. You are using a free script, they could just make all the scripts paid scripts.

Sure, it makes botting a little bit more time consuming, but it's not stopping you from botting.

 

I've been to powerbot community as well and ask the same question to everyone until one of the staff claimed that they are running out some space from their server. Actually, he claimed that they are paying $20k per month to maintain their server wherein by reducing free-users to use 3 scripts only will minimize their server-usage.

 

Personally, it doesn't effect me in any way, shape, or form as most of their free scripts aren't as stable as their premium releases. They're a company after all, and whether we like it or whether we don't that has to be taken into consideration.
