Ok, so im going through like 50 tutorials on how to make a private server, and i've completed everything except the port forwarding.
When i go under security options and add the default port of 43954 as exception to firewall, many of the tuts say to put the servername where it says name, but i dont know if its what i named my server (VentureScape) or what i have no-ip host which is VentureScape.no-ip.biz.
Thennnn....I have to port forward that. So i go to my 2wire system summary and go to firewall settings...then i don't know what to do. 2wire is a crappy router that gives you barely any options. I did add a user-defined thing, and when it asked for my application name, i dont know whether to again: put my server name, or put the server name from no-ip.
If someone currently hosts with a 2wire router, please respond or contact me on my msn which is [email protected]
