• Proof of contacting victims for repayment or repayment of victims: The User hasn't been on since August 5th 2013 and I have no idea how I can contact them. I think this is his Skype or MSN: b0tz420 which I found on the Middleman's thread we used. I downloaded Skype again and tried to add him and MSN shut down in 2014... tried to still see if I could access it by looking at outlook/hotmail everything msn related but no luck. I've read the sticky and it requires proof of a month trying to contact but I'm really stuck here on this since the only contact information I have is not working and you'll probably stop reading here since I didn't follow the rule, but I'll give it a shot and just try again in 6 months.

• Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you: I was a young and dumb 17 year old that made a very stupid decision to recover an account that I had sold. I sold the account on December 31st 2012 I believe and I had ZERO intentions of even recovering it until the summer where I randomly remembered I sold the account. I literally forgot about it after I sold it because I was never planning on getting it back, it was one and done. But look what I did. I honestly think I needed GP on the game or something at that time so I ended up trying to see the account. I was an greedy kid wondering what was on the account so I sent Jagex an account recovery email on June 1st 2013 claiming it was hacked. Here is it: (Email) Being the dumb little greedy kid I was I recovered it to see what was on it (Which was like 10M GP) and I still didn't use the account AT ALL at that time. I didn't go back on Sythe because I knew I would be banned and wouldn't use the site, but to this day I really regret that decision because years later now that I'm an grown up I do want to be active on this site and continue the safe business and have a good positive reputation that I once did. Literally wasn't using my brain thinking about scamming. I've had plenty of positive transactions and wanted to continue and build my reputation but I ruined it all. I have no idea if there's anyway I can somehow get in contact with him since it's been over 5 years. But if there's anyway in the universe I can talk to him or email him I can get him the account back along with the recovery information that I used.. and even add some more GP on top of that to repay. It's really difficult because I don't even know if the guy plays Runescape anymore.. I honestly figured I wouldn't want to use Sythe anymore so I probably said F it and pulled this off just to regret it 5 years in the future. I think I should be forgiven because I'm really not a scammer at heart I just pulled this one idiotic move as a child that I even felt wrong doing at the time but still did it. I don't know how if there's anything I can to do to prove it or repay it at this point, but I really regret this all. I've read the stickied thread and filled this form out to the best of my ability.

And I believe @Jarodx4 isn't me because I remember seeing this name on here years ago but I don't think I was the owner of it

If I could possibly know the emails associated with both accounts I could make sure.

 

This user's email starts with "jarodx4".

And this user's name is literally "Jarodx4".

Do you expect me to believe that someone would take exactly the same name/email that includes your Skype username? If necessary I can even have an admin lookup the registration IP's.

 

@Misc Brah is mines in that case then yes. I went to check my email accounts and that's the one email account I don't know the password to so I couldn't 100% make sure the profile was mines.

And for @Jarodx4 I know it sounds stupid but the only reason I think that is because I went on the account page and it says referred by "lear" and I have no idea who that is. It seems to be an owner of a private server. Yes, I would like the registration IP so then I'll know the location the account was created, and if it's where I'm located then it has to be mines. Sorry I know it sounds very weird but I want to make sure I'm not lying to you by depending on my memory as it's been quite a while.

 

Very well, I'll have an admin look at the IP's. For now please let's just await your scam victim to contact us, like I said, you can remind me of this thread in 2 weeks again. But feel free to provide more accounts/ban reasons if you come across them.

I've bumped him again. Message me again in 2 weeks and if no response by then, the refund will go to community repayment. As far as the accounts' IP's: I've asked @video about this and we both confirmed they are yours, even though we are unable to obtain the IP's as the accounts are so old.

 

@2Gurls1Jarod - Total debt owed will be what @Wortel outlined above, $100.
