Now to start this off you might think this issue has been declined and thought of over and over. But as you can see i'm somewhat of a normal member and I think that what I am about to state will be heavily reviewed. I am also telling you this as a previous user educator.
User education was one of the better things at Sythe. I always enjoyed going to the user education section and posting guides and talking amongst the user educators. Before I was a user educator I had somewhat of an idea what it was. I used to read the applications and guides on how to do certain things and on random guides. It was always an enjoyable thing to do for me. It also gave members without a lot of trust a place to try and attempt to gain some. It also provided a place where people could share their educational virtues with the rest of the members. Ever since user education has been gone, I can just tell Sythe is losing some of it's stronger members. I, as a previous educator can tell you that it was one of the reasons that I stayed away for a bit. I feel that once it left a part of Sythe left and so e of it's activity.
This is somewhat of a petition to bring back user education. I would not mind in it coming back at all, and I would seriously aid in that. I will do whatever it takes to get it back as it was one of my favorite things to do other than middlemanning. I would take responsibility in running user education, if that is ok. Now if it was brought back, it of course have some changes. It was never a failure but the judging would have to be a bit harder. I know ever since it went down we lost a bit of our better members, or heavily decreased their activity. I would take thee head educators position along with another member which would be voted on. Now I think I somewhat deserve to become a head educator, and have earned it also trusted enough. But if many members feel otherwise then thats fine with me another member would be elected. Sythe, Steph and Clashfan would not have to do much and I would basically run everything making it easier for them. I think that we should get a little more respect though such as a colored name or something along those lines.
User education would be on a highly different scale. Everything would be much harsher yet better. To add the ranks I would pm Steph or an administrator the list of accepted educators every 2 days with a link to their application. This would make it easier for them to add the ranks. Also the head educator could lock, and have some moderator powers. If you don't want to make the head educator staff I could see, but I could also see how he should be since he does do equally as much work. I'm sure that user education would easily be welcomed back and not shunned on. I put my word on it that user education will help the activity of Sythe increase and be a big hit again. A lot of us miss it, and it was a place where I met most of my friends at Sythe. I mean I was never close with WoW Sucks but I have barely seen him around nowadays. Think about this thoroughly and give me a serious response. I believe we need this and there is no reason why we shouldn't have it back. It was always great and super active. It would not hurt and im sure it would be welcomed.
