Well I'm guessing he is referring to his SEC charges and the heat he faced for his price rising of daraprim, which is pretty funny because 99% of the people who say he's shit for it (including ghostface killa) has zero idea about anything healthcare related, nor do they realize that the drug wouldn't even exist if he didn't buy a bankrupt company with huge debt for 650 million dollars. What's funny is that the drug wouldn't exist if it wasn't for him, because there's only about 1500-2000 people who need it each year and he convinced his investors he can take a broken company with a dying drug and make it profitable, while providing health services to people with an aids related disease. I'm sure you already know, but if you call and prove you can't afford it (even with healthcare and insurance), you can get the medicine for a penny a pill, or you can even get the whole script for free.

Martin is actually a hero in my eyes for what he did, and the only people saying the 50x price increase was unjust are the government and insurance companies who want to paint him as the bad guy, when Phizer kills like 1 million animals a year and a bunch of monkeys and can't even control their own drug (the most conterfitted pharmaceutical drug in the world).


Because of this huge misunderstanding, SJW want to come to the defense of people and a disease they don't understand, and attack (personally) a man who made his investors 10s of millions of dollars and took a dead drug no one wanted to pick up, and make it better.

So I think he means that he puts his own pesonal reputation on the line just to make his investors rich. No one went after the investors, no one went after the insurance companies, everyone just went after him because he's the big bogey man. Then the SEC comes after him and congress got 3 out of 9-12 charges to stick, and he claimed to be able to get 2/3 of those 3 thrown out. The media and congress tried to make an example out of him, and all it did was prove how corrupt they were in trying to prove he is a bad guy...

The truth? The 2000 people who need that drug thinks he is a hero. And literally ever pharma company "price spikes" and Hillary calls it, but that's just how business work. No one is goi g to sell a 1 cent pill and take 80 years to pay off a failed companies debt and allow a needed drug to dissapear from existence until some fuck tard decides that enough people die to be able to do so.
