Hello, i was wondering if i could get my forums username changed to "Legacy" if its not available to be changed to that just let me know and i'll think of something else, thank you!

Everything on name changes can be found in this post:

As of January 10, 2016, minor & major name changes are honoured as described below.

Those eligible for a minor name change request are those who:

Have donated a minimum of 5$

Have a join date which dates to at least a year prior to their name change request

Have 2FA enabled at the time of their request and pass an IP check (To enable 2FA visit http://www.sythe.org/twofactor.php and for a guide see: here.)

Have not previously changed their name via the minor name change system

Those eligible for a major name change request are those who:

Have not previously changed their name via the major name change system

Must pass a staff lounge poll

Will be given a User Title linking back to your old name for anywhere between 6-12 months.

NOTE: We can in rare cases deny a request without reasoning.

Username change requests we currently discuss/vote on:

Please bear in mind your desired name must be available/not taken.

Removal of numbers in a name where the alternative is available (Example: Name1224 to Name)

Replacement of a number in a name (Example: N4m3 to Name)

Removal of characters such as underscores or hyphens where the alternative is available (Example: User_Name to User Name or UserName)

Capitalisaton or de-capitalisation of name (Example: name to Name or Name to name)

Removal of special characters in rare cases where the user profile glitches

Removal of random letters that do not add to the username

Minor corrections of spelling

Major name change

How to apply for a username change:

You fill out a Name Change Request Form below.

An Administrator reviews your request and if it fulfils requirements:

If you fall under honourable name change request number 1, 2, 3 or 4 above, your request will usually be honoured.

If you fall under honourable name change request number 5, 6, 7, or 8 your request will be reviewed by staff and need a majority approval. This will take a week.

If your name is changed, your UserTitle will be edited to reflect your previous name for 6 months unless only capitalisation or de-capitalisation occurs - you will not be able to change it yourself in this time.

If your name is not changed, you will be notified as to why and given another opportunity to apply depending on the reasoning.

Your name change will forever be listed in the http://www.sythe.org/community-general/1882267-list-username-changes.htmlthread unless only capitalisation or de-capitalisation occurs.

You can contact an Administrator in 6 months to request your UserTitle be removed and UserTitle request perk be enabled for you again if applicable.

A note on banned names:

Well, unfortunately as per Richard's ruling, if an account is banned for blackhat, scamming, vading (a scamming ban), or anything like that - we can't use the name cause it's needed for future proof. If it was a spambot or some ban that isn't related to scamming or the other things mentioned above, then the name is up for grabs.

If your name change is affected by this you are welcome to apply for another change of sorts. Maybe in the future this can be overturned but as of now this is the case.

Your change would be a minor change. If the name is already in use the account has to have been inactive for a LONG time in order to get that name.

The 'code' was a mistake in the quote, my bad. Your honourable number would be #1:

You won't be able to get Legacy's name under the current rules, even if this user never comes back, he isn't banned and he has 400+ posts, so he's obviously done something on here rather than just made an account and never logged in again.
