Does anyone watch the show? Season 2 Just ended and I absolutely fell in love with ending. In my opinion one of the best season finale's out there. For some reason that episode gave me so much joy.

I disagree, there was no reason for Lucifer's mother to give up her blood lust for millennia of hatred for her husband and willingly be cast into an empty void. And if traditional Christianity is accurate in the world of this TV show, it doesn't matter what alternate dimension she's sent to, all of time and space was created by god. Technically, she's still in his domain, and that's what she was raging against in the first place.

Not only that, but I believe it was a real and very powerful drive that Charlotte wanted to see all her children again. Being banished to an empty alternate dimension not only strips her of her revenge on god, but also the eternal ability to see her children. What mother and what goddess would willingly go

The ending was very dissatisfying for me

I dont think that applies to this show, not even in the slightest.

Idk maybe coz lucifer is a good guy and has a mother? A divine goddess? Not a Christian but doubt there is any mention of her in the Bible.

So then it's a show with a lazily applied theme, entirely distorted and rewritten to serve an equally lazy staff who didn't feel like coming up with a theology/backstory of their own, but instead relied on terrible religious puns and biblical names to carry their story. It's like Twilight all over again

All in all, the show started out very promising, but was butchered by the generic Fox network script paradigm and stretched long past its natural conclusion, only to deliver a sub par ending(?)

Unlike you I found the ending quite appealing tbh, imo it all concluded in a way sort of. The cliffhanger was a happy one, the music built it up. It was a cliffhanger that wouldnt give me anxiety till the next season.
