Introducing myself

[Levinsnake]

Hello all,

I was looking for a safe place to sell and buy things that doesn't have all the fees from the bigger sites like g2a and seeing as how league is mostly what I play, this seemed like a good place.

Do scams happen all that often here? Or is that more of a cautionary- beware of scams- sort of thing? Of course it's always good to be smart about these things but just asking in order to know the community more.

Just looking to gain some reputability and trust so people feel safe trading with me.

Have a nice day everyone

Welcome

Like on any other trading forum, scams happen here as well. Your best bet is to always use your common sense and a middleman in all trades. When you use both its unlikely you will get scammed.

Welcome to sythe and yes watch out for scams they happen often sadly.

[Kaska]

welcome man! Scams do happen you can avoid them for the most part by learning good trade practice here's 2 things I wish I used when I first started out

Use a trusted MM/OMM when trading, they can be found here: MiddleMan Forums

Always request a sythe PM to avoid imposters

[Levinsnake]

Thank you all very much! All the input is greatly appreciated and it's amazing how welcoming it is here. Definitely will be sticking around

Hey welcome! Yes, scams do occur once in awhile but your best bet is to be cautious and always ask for a pm before any trades. Read stickies and make sure you're following guidelines.

I play league too

Welcome to Sythe. Yes, scamming has, and always will be an issue not just here, but in every marketplace. I suggest using this guide by @Superfluous to ensure you'll most likely never run into any scams in the future.
