Allow 1 open auction thread in marketplace per artist (separate from services thread)

The problem with many auction threads is users (who I will not name) use it as a way to advertise their website/service/etc., effectively manipulating the market.

I wouldn't mind additional subsections being added if necessary, but a very specific set of regulations will need to be put in place.

 

That's because people don't report them as much. I've closed many of your threads like this, however, so I'm not sure if your comments are mostly biased as a result of that. It's not like I'd refuse to close the threads in a near dead market if reported.

 

You can't make that assumption, lol. If they refuse to do so, it would be something to bring up on their feedback thread or to an upper staff member.

Also, if you have a proposal for "lightly regulate" when you don't exactly know what I mean by "a very specific set of regulations", please post it.

 

It appears there is significant support for this sort of thing. Im going to leave the thread open for a couple more days if anyone wants to suggest rules if we make a new subforum or anything else theyd like to suggest @Soul since your the graphics moderator now feel free to tag me in this in a couple days and ill move it to staff lounge for discussion/implementation.
