Abortion

If a Woman is due to have her baby in 3 days and she is murdered, did he murder the woman or the woman and the child?

The baby is full size and to come out in 3 days lets say.

Fetuses can't feel pain until about 26-28 weeks in the pregnancy because they have not yet developed the synaptic receptors and a mind sophisticated enough to process the experience of pain.

When you were born, you needed nurturing, etc. and could not survive on your own. Prematurely born children CAN survive, without any more help than a regular child, so your argument does not stand on that premise.

When I was born, I was seperate from my mother, and could survive on my own blood and lungs.

The difference is that prematurely born children are seperate from their mother. Before they are born, they're not, and therefore, should not have the rights granted to a human being.
 
I have no problem with abortion, besides stem cell research if it is ever legalized
can be very helpful. So I say abortion for legalization.
 
A fetus is a symbiotic organism, or in simpler terms, a parasite. But most people would not agree with that term because the parasite is of their species.

But other than that, there really isn't much of a difference. It grows on you, feeds off you, and in some instances could kill you when you are giving birth to it.

That's what a parasite is, something that feeds of you and grows off you. But you're right, from a certain standpoint one could say that a fetus is a parasite, but a fetus is part of a womans body. You may think it's a child but, a fetus, is in fact already part of a womans body. Most abortions occur when the child begins the developmental stage.
 
it should definitely be legal. why not? shit happens. if you get in trouble you should be able to get out of it, simple as that.

And if a child was induced prematurely, you'd consider that a person? o: Just when do they get rights shredder? Do they cross a magical boundary? All children need support to live. You don't get magic cocks coming out of their mouth and spraying food at them, no child can survive by itself.

No magic is involved. All that happens is that they seperate from their mother, and physically survive without the help of another being.

There is a difference between requiring food to live, and requiring the heartbeat of another person to live. A newborn child can be left alone for five minutes, and it will not die. It is capable of surviving on its own blood, its own lungs, etc.

Please explain where exactly the line is drawn here between unacceptable levels of care required and acceptable levels. This is entering the realm of opinion at the SPEED OF LIGHT.

There is no level of care required. Once you are a physically seperate entity, then you get your rights.

I can see little Shredderbeam now, gathering sticks for a fire and eggs for breakfast at the ripe age of two days.

If you're worried about the baby feeling pain, my uncle has had tumors removed, cancer zapped, and other medical procedures, but he says that his circumcision at the age of 30 was the most painful experience he's ever had to endure.
