Ban reason: Owe $100-$200 to Bus369 depending on if you calc the bitcoin price at the time or the bitcoin price now.

Proof of contacting: Impossible since user has been inactive on Sythe/Skype for 18 days now. I've offered to let a staff member hold.

Events:

Worked for Bus for about a week as a LiveChat agent. I was holding some of the sites bitcoin that I had received from customers.
Anyway, when payday came around I had received a threat to turn off my electricity if the payment wasn't made the same day. Bus was offline, he had claimed to be sick. Although some people did mention his habit of disappearing during payday, but that's another story.
I cashed out the bitcoin from my wallet and paid my bill. Since I had worked 30+ hours that week I expected to be able to cover it. Bus had previously advertised $5-8/hr starting pay, and numbers around that were discussed in our initial negotiations (although this was commission based, that is what I'd been expecting). I'm not complaining about the pay or him being gone obviously, just explaining my thought process.
I ended up getting paid just under $2.50/hr and wasn't able to cover the difference. The next day Bus had me banned by Video until he was re-paid. Because I was already so late on utilities etc, immediate re-payment wasn't an option.
So since then I've been slowly saving up money to pay back Bus. I do apologize for the hassle this has caused both him and the staff. It wasn't fair to him, and I probably should have left that BTC be. I will try my best to avoid situations like these in the future.
As a side note I've also also handled over $3000 at a time working other livechat jobs while banned, and can show proof. If that helps with gauging any risk to the community.

As you are actively attempting to repay Bus, I have lifted your ban and applied a DNT.

Your ban itself was actually temporary (until the repayment was made) so I'm not sure a pardon is even necessary. Just repay Bus and your ban will be lifted.

 

Well like he said the entire thing could have been avoided if he had just left the BTC alone and for the record it's been well over 2 months since Bus reported him to me, meaning this payment has been owed for close to 3 months now. We can't just extend deadlines on payments indefinitely at some point we have to say ok it's been too long since the payment was first due, now you have to pardon. Making DD pardon here is hardly unreasonable

 

Obviously I disagree with Video's assessment. Bus didn't tell Video in order to get me perm banned, he just wanted him to apply a temp-ban so I'd have even more incentive to pay him back. I'm sure Bus received his $ right now he'd be 100% fine with an un-ban, we've always been on good terms.

Video's distaste for me is pretty well established, so he's naturally taken the opportunity to increase this from a private debt to a public pardonable offense. Frankly I'm kind of annoyed that Bus brought this to him in particular, and that somehow he keeps being the one to handle any of my cases.

Regardless, I'm fine going either way. If I don't need to pardon, please provide me a staff members BTC address to send the payment to. If I do need to pardon, please do the same so voting can happen. All I care about is getting this all fixed up.

I don't think it's unreasonable at all, but I didn't base my belief for a pardon not being required on the case; rather, the ban itself stated that it was a temporary ban until Bus was paid back.

As we're doing a pardon, are we pushing it through soon as staff has received the payment or doing a full 30 days of waiting?

 

I think we should go for it as soon as a staff member receives the BTC
