Vouches

I think that their should be a new system for vouches, or change the way people do them now. There should be a rule or something about them.

The reason I say this is that I see people with like 4 post count, yet they have like 10 vouches.

Seems like some people may just be taking someone else's vouch and adding it to their own.


The new system should be-

1.) Keep the vouch simple. An example-
I cashlagoon vouch for ____.
2.) A link of the thread needed of the service you did for that person.


I am not talking of the mm vouches, just the ones you see people have in their sigs for selling accounts, services, and selling gold.


Could clean out some of these scammers with these fake vouches or people use someone who just joined the like one day ago and vouch for them.

Not going to happing. If you think there fake vouches ask a mod to run a ip check on them.

 

The real problem is when people have vouches in their sig for stupid shit, like for example "HUGE VOUCH! Trained my Str from 10-22 in 2 hours!!" or "This guy gets my vouch! He gave me a great acct name!" What scammers tend to do is set up some pathetic service, like giving people free names such as "c00ldude101". Because the general population salivates at the simple mention of something free, they'll happily trade a vouch away, even if it's for an acct name they could easily get themselves.

I say, if you want to put a vouch in your sig, it has to be for a trade of at least 1 Mil on BOTH sides. Other than that, it's meaningless anyways, and is just being used to falsely increase their reputation.

 

You can easily check if a vouch or any other quote for that matter is faked by clicking the arrow thing by the name of the person who the quote is of - it will take you to the post that their quoting and you can see for yourself if it is real or not.

 

Yes but still fire.. A system would help alot more and wouldnt be hard to use.

You are suspicious about these members with these so called vouches right... Nuff said. If you are weary then trade with caution no one forces you to trade with people with the alleged faked vouches.

 

Tbh, who 'vouches' for someone should never be what sways you to trust somebody. Only trust someone for who they are.

Or just do as most do. Trust nobody.

 

Actually i started out by training for vouches.. its really not that easy, when you train crap accounts to high levels, banking for food cause def is so low...

I dont think the names should count as vouches though, that is like a 25k trade

 

this is not the only thing i got scammed by a so called trust worthy guy to train my account, he had 3 vouches but it seems that they were three friends who just vouched each other

 

I've got an idea. How about, you either check the persons vouches yourself by contacting to see what they actually did. Or, you don't trust someone by how many "vouches" they have in their signiture and you trust them by what you think of them. If you've never seen them before yet they are being vouched for by Annex, either contact Annex to see why he vouched for him (because it's going to be fake), or just ignore him and go to the next trader.

 

That should fix problem. Vouches from people, who just joined to sythe and never done anything to gain good rep mean nothing.

 

I haven't yet bought anything from this site, and do not plan to I just like to read the blackmarket and the user services and see all these vouches and some look fake.

It was just an idea to help improve this site.

 

Well, I disagree this vouch system works fine & easy.

 

i htink that this new idea is a good idea. i think that sythe should use that smart thinking

 

I kind of agree, just if you think someone's lying, don't trade with em =/.


What's really stupid is when people link to the same vouch twice in their signature.

 

Yea.. they probably are fake vouches.
