Searched his Skype username, only one that came up



Relativitym8 doesn't pop up, even @Felix tried afterwards for me. Only reason I went on with the trade is because live: gets manually added with microsoft accounts and gmail I believe (mine is a gmail and it has live: in it)

He was supposed to send me BTC after but then logged off.

I know I'm an idiot for not asking for a PM but granted it was the only Skype, I didn't feel the need when I got it directly from his thread and knowing the manual live: account thing.

Also: he hasn't replied to mine or Felix's PM's on Sythe. He's currently online and was last engaged in conversation like 50 mins ago. I know it's late (4:30 am here), so anything could have happened. Hopefully all gets resolved fast. Let me know if I left anything out.

It's an imposter, his real skype is "relativitym8" not "live:relativitym8"

as you can see on his thread & by clicking his skype button;

 

I honestly can't find his Skype when I type it into Skype.


Seems a little fishy so I'm going to discuss it with other staff members.

 

Yeah I understand that, there's a super confusion right now going on with me having a few friends search for his account.

Here are two screenies showing the search for relativitym8, then it turning into live: when you click on it. Not sure why but it would appear to me the two are linked somehow so I feel confident it isn't an imposter. Only reason I posted the report. Obviously there's still a chance it's an imposter, but I want to make sure. Thanks for the input though.

 

Moreover, there aren't even any other profile options when I search his name like there should be if he had impostor Skypes like anyone else with imposters. Also the "live:" thing is a pretty well-known addition from making a Skype account via a Microsoft account so that doesn't entirely mean it isn't his account.

in the screenshot you showed, "relativitym8" is the username u can select, so ur equivalent is charlotte, "live:relativitym8" is his skype-id



Though it is wierd I can't find his real skype by manually searching..

True but he also has a skype without it, so unless mods rule differently/there is proof he owns that skype this'll just be ruled as an imposter scam

 

I have him added on my work skype and I can add the imposter, so it does seem like it's some kind of Skype glitch

 

That's fine, I still wanted to make sure. I'm still confused but if it's just a glitch, then I got scammed by technology lol.

 

I can confirm here, I've had a customer in the previous past where I contacted him on my skype "[email protected]" and it showed up to him as live:taxedsythe it can happen. if i can find this ill show you the logs with him. but @Yankiee might be right, its a glitch i think.

 

If any other evidence does show up, please bring it forward to me.
