Sythe usernames

Is selling sythe usernames allowed? I'm assuming no

name changes are so new that i don't think we've ever encountered this situation yet. it's not explicitly against the rules, but my guess is that any such name change will be shot down by a staff vote - save your money and pick another name!

 

I know this sounds a little far fetched but maybe users being allowed to sell usernames to other sythe users could be a positive thing in terms of trust. Let's say for example I am a $200 donator. I can easily scam someone for $600 and profit but if I'm a $200 donator and I buy a username called "pig" for example I probably won't scam as I went out of my way to have a cool username. This could actually be a positive market to add? Maybe. Thoughts?

 

This would count for any market endeavor. You went out of your way to become a $200 donor in the first place so that speaks as much to "trust" as buying a username would. If you spent $200 anywhere on the site for your own personal gain, it's the same thing. Trust doesn't stack. Just my two cents.

 

but this one kind of is. we'll never condone this sort of activity
