Purchased an account from him yesterday $70 BTC + some minis.

Logged in to make sure it was what he said it was, and went to bed. No information was changed, no email, nothing.

Come home from work today, It's banned for macroing (I'm assuming its for the 125 castle wars tickets it had on it).

So uhhh.... Repayment?

I'd prefer Shin didn't handle this report.

I dont believe he's responsible any bans, mutes or roll backs once it's sold. That's the risk you take when purchasing a botted account. Happened to me several times when purchasing league smurfs. I see no difference here unless mootrucks provided a warranty?

 

Well first off, the account wasn't botted on, nor do I bot. Also i'm not responsible for an account when it comes to bans once sold, honestly thought you were trolling when you mentioned this on discord lol.

 

The whole point is that it was not disclosed as a botted account. There is no other reason it would have been hit with a macroing ban during that time frame when I haven't even changed ownership.

 

This is one word against the other without proof (as to who botted), third possibility is that one of your IPs is flagged and that that's the reason why it's banned.

@Mootrucks do you have the osbuddy screenshots saved of the levels?

@Dave would also appreciate your input here.

 

I've literally never been banned on RS and have RWT'ed for over 10 years, bought numerous accs and havent actively played the game in 4-5 months. So im a little doubtful there buddy.

 

I've had mootrucks train numerous accounts of mine and I haven't received any bans yet so I really wouldn't know what to say here.

Moo, can you provide some screenshots of any training done on the account? I'm not saying you botted but a ban like this a day after purchase isn't really something that can be avoided by either party and this will likely result in a split refund.

Also everyone needs to stay off this thread if anyone besides Gun or Moo posts (that isn't staff) I'll happily infract

 

This is his own project acc that is 1 att, 80 str, 1 def, and has about 130 castle wars tickets. I know training on 07 is aids but that's pure aids and Idk. There is just literally no other reason it would get tagged with a macro ban. I paid him BTC while at work, got home and sent him the minis, received the acc and logged in for 2 minutes to confirm, didn't even change the email, password, nothing. Went to bed, went to work, got home and tried to login and it was banned for macroing.

 

If we can get someone to Submit a ticket to Jagex Support via Twitter , they can look into the ban and will tell you the ban reason.

 

Evidence clearly states not to do any of this, that they will just delete it lol. Idk if that's just a scare tactic but it sounds like they don't give a fuck about what you say.

I've recommended talking to Jagex Support via Twitter multiple times to users who's accounts were banned. Id say a decent amount were unbanned.

 

I wasn't the person to train it @Agwa was, I can ask him if he can provide the osbuddy screenshots as far as leveling, may take a while for him to respond as he hasn't been on recently. He got the account 80 strength and 99 cooking for me way back in June-ish so I don't think that could of caused the ban.

Can also further prove that the account he trained for me is in fact the account Gun bought from me in private if need be.

As far as the castle wars tickets, I was the one to get them and I don't think osbuddy keeps track of castle war tickets, this was hand done for the record.

I think it's also worth mentioning that no other account that I have on the ip that I got the castle war tickets from has been banned, my theory is that Gun decided he didn't want the account and botted on it to try and pull something like this. I can try contacting twitter support like you guys have mentioned above I guess, can you give me what to say in specific? First time dealing with something like this.

 

Are you fucking stupid? I literally asked in Discord is anyone would sell me an obby mauler and you stated you had one. One that is not listed anywhere, that I would not have known about. Additionally the new thread I posted trying to buy one? and the one I started on my own as well? I'm not that daft. You or your buddy fucked something up big time, now you just implemented a 3rd party that you can not 100% validate his method of training?

 

Say that the account is banned and you truly have no reason why. Tell them you never once botted and you even have screenshots of your leveling on the account. Maybe ask for a reason for the ban/try to have it unbanned?

Jagex has been tweeted, will update this thread with the results when they get back to me.

 

They told me bans can't be appealed and they aren't reviewed on request, "nothing can be done" @Dave has been given a screenshot of this.
