99 strength??

Most of my queries have been answered, probably (hopefully) my last question on this topic:

I know whip is the best weapon to train attack but what is the best for fast strength training - d scimmy, d battleaxe, obby maul (with zerker necklace) or verac's flail? I want to find a better weapon (good balance with speed and power) than the d scimmy as I don't want to do monkey madness (looks long with all the walking) =_=.


Wow, according to runehq's pest control calculator, I only need 7900 pest points to get 99 strength and that doesn't include damage done per game. Looks much more achievable now . Is this calculator reliable?

Should I be bothered to do monkey madness? how long does it take to complete it?

 

Yes, Pest Control Is About The Best Method There Is, If your on a good world, if not.. your screwed, get swiftswitch.. that'll get you pc worlds.. and then 10,000 with only 15 hours a week, depends how hard you train, maybe 2 months.

 

Well with 90+ people, I guess one game will last for about 1,5 minutes. So 10 000 points*1,5min=15 000mins=250hs.

 

It took me about 1.5 weeks of non stop pc training of 100-200 points a day. It may take you 50 days if you get 200 points a day, more if you get 100 a day. For the 10000 points did you factor in the strength exp you get while getting points?

 

The summer vacation is comming FTW

Anyway, I think it should take you like 2 1/2 to 3 months.

 

Well getting 50 points an hour, it would take 200 hours, it would take over 3 months to get it playing for 15 hours a week.

 

Try to join a really, really good pc clan.

 

i heard afk at bandits really fast. Well im doing it and i get umm 300k-400k exp each day play arround 7hrs each day

 

the official time for getting 99 strength is forever pc is fastest way to train strength best is always opinion though 10k tickets...... well good luck!

afk at bandits or pc faster? I don't mind actually concentrating on the game..

Oh and which would be faster - attack to 99 (it's currently 71) or strength to 99 (currently 75)? Considering that a lot of exp can be raised with the whip, which I can definitely afford.

 

Pc is the fastest way and I think you should go for 99 str or go for high att and def and become a staker =)

 

get attack first

 

get 80 atk then go for 99 str with bandits and skelys at damis's lair with a salve ammy.

Oh and mm is easy get the d scim its best for str.

 

Gee, MM sounds hard just reading the quest guides. Lots of teleporting, running through those long tunnels to zooknook, going back to jail all the time...

How long on average does MM take to complete?

Some of my friends say flail is a decent compromise with speed and power and the only downside is it's two-handed and it must be repaired frequently (which isn't an issue, I have enough money).

 

the best way to get your str up is the bandit camp ,like someone said 7 hours to get 1 lvl up (when you in the 80-89 str ) when you hit the 90 str it will take uhh about liek 10 -14 hours but with bandit camp you will get liek 9 hours to get up 1 str lvl when you have 90-99 str , so you are lookign at 1 day per str lvl , yea alot of playing but its worth it , i have calculated taht if you play religoiusly on rs you can make a bill per month and sell the mills for 5 ea and you get 50,000 dollars...... yea..... oh and who ever things pc is good for training at all ... go fuck you selves pc souks big salty balls. never do pc for training it will double your time or somoen triple the amount of time.

oooooo and i would get 99 att first becouse if you have that you would be liek wearing veracs , the purpose of attack is to hit more often , like when you see all those 0,0,0 ,0 ,0,0 that pisses you off but if you higher attack you will be seeing 9.13.34,12. ... blah blah blah you get the point.. i hope.

 

Interesting post, although I'd rather rely on my real life skills to earn a basic living standard.

Is what he says about pest control true? I always hear from everyone that this is not the case if you have a good pc clan that can get through cycles quick..

Oh, I think I understand what miles40dog is saying when he says training at desert bandit camp is faster than at pest control...

Training when you're a lower level at pc is good to build up your stats so that when you do train at bandit camp with all your combat stats in their 90s, it is much easier and faster to kill the bandits, and the rate of xp at bandits will surpass that of pest control's?

Correct me if i'm wrong .
