Requested Tuesday Off.

My girls pregnant and I requested Tuesday off so I could be present at the doctors appointment. (ultra sound, blood work etc) I get a text back saying they have to let me go. "They couldnt afford to keep me"


They legit fired me because I requested Tuesday off...

I've had no complaints or phone calls regarding the quality of my work
I've lost no customers in the last 45 days (High turn over field)
I've caused zero damage to customers homes or equipment.

I made $50.00 a week more than the other two guys..

That's non-taxed to, one of my workers does construction full time and brings home more money off my site then he does his IRL job lol.

Had nothing to do with me actually. From what I've been told since the company lost a fair amount of pools over the last few months. They couldnt financially afford to keep all the current employee's. They parted ways with me because I was paid more and unwilling to take a pay cut. (Considering I was being paid an average amount for the work)

 

Pretty sure that's illegal and im gona report you to the irs if this doesnt get changed.
