Advertising Rule Question

Does this mean you can't advertise a website in a thread where you deal on live chat without paying for an advertising account?

Not sure if I'm interpreting this correctly.

Referencing the bold excerpt.

"Advertising: Posting or private messaging links to other sites is allowed if there is a legitimate purpose in doing so that benefits Sythe users. Market threads may only link to websites if business is conducted on Sythe and alternative methods of contact (Skype, AIM, etc) are given. Accounts specifically created for advertising will be banned."

 

We don't have advertising accounts like other websites, you don't need to be a donor/sponsor to be able to advertise your websites, as long as your website is legitimate and you're selling legitimate items (not hacked or stolen) and your website is secure with no viruses then you are free to post your website on the thread of your choice as long as it corresponds to the section it's posted in.
