Buying votes is only going to result in the server getting removed from all the toplists lul. Anyway the server will be a flop it'll easily generate players but it'll just be so buggy.

 

I've never had a RSPS removed, think about it, you'd have a giant rush of players and they'd look legitimate if u ran the bot or paid someone to do 250-500 a day, ud climb in the mid 30's and gradually get top 15-20 legitimately, never had a problem on other RSPS.

Also I know some RSPS TOPLISTS don't track at all(top100arena is buy votes central).

I agree though, ur going to have a downloaded base put out most likely, I hope that's not the case though.

It's not as easy as u think, runelocus and other toplists deathbycapcha are hard to get around.

The only time I can is if I buy from a guy who does botted votes or IPFUCK use to work where u could use TOR and just swap ip's and refresh and revote(it would basically give u a new browser IP), with enough people this works but it gets tedious, however It's been blocked now.

Vote abusing is costly, that's why its like $20-$30 per 1k now adays because it costs the botters money for every deathbycapcha they do.

 

You wouldn't need it with Sythe, It'd generate enough players.

 

You have to retain new players though, Sythe isn't large enough to support a full RSPS.

You'd be forced to drive traffic to it elsewhere.

Truthfully if Sythe would green light the project and officially sponsor it, the initial rush of players and if we could get it out Sep 1st/2nd/3rd along with me push a few RSPS youtubers to make videos & get some decent toplist rankings, we literally might spike into the 100-200 range, get a donation system & vote system out the playerbase will maintain the vote rankings and we can stop the initial botting so its all legit, then as the server brings in income we can pay more youtubers and bring more developers on board.

The real challenge is getting it out at the proper time, having sythe officially sponsor it, and having a server function able enough to satisfy people until updates can be ran on a regular basis.


The other side of that though is any base that their going to push out that quickly is going to run into economy resets and duping issues early on, and that's going to put it into an early grave.

 

Really looking forward to playing it. The last good server that I played was resistance pk ~3-4 years ago
