Wrongfully banned

I posted a thread but I cannot find it, I was recently browsing my posts trying to find a thread I had posted in and I found something suspicious. They created a thread selling blood money and pmd some people saying I had a new skype which was sythe.rsk, my skype is Sir.faps.alot however that is largely irrelevant as I never use it unless I have an active trade post. Upon realizing this changed the name of the thread to Hijacked, do not trade. I then created a thread in the community general that was censored and never posted, I then proceeded to contact anyone that could still potentially be considering trading with whoever was using my sythe to warn them in an attempt to mitigate any damage.

I've done everything I thought was the correct thing to do and nothing I've posted since or before my ban regarding this topic has received any attention. I've been using sythe for almost a decade albeit mostly as a lurker I still use this community because it's one of the few that allow account trading.

Why am I banned for doing the right thing? I could have ignored the situation and gone without any issue the only guy that posted about being scammed was already banned and didn't make a scammer accusation. I WAS TRYING TO PROTECT PEOPLE LIKE ME using this website and you guys ban me for it.
