2016 XXL Freshman Class Leaked

Supposedly the leaked list. Last years class was the worst yet (Fetty and OG Maco the only real notable dudes, Vince Staples has been big since like 2013...). This years class is looking not a whole lot better but we'll see.

I always like the Freshman list cause it's fun to see who really blows up and who disappears.

Previous Freshman classes:

2009: Wale, B.o.B, Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth, Cory Gunz, Blu, Mickey Factz, Ace Hood, Curren$y, and Kid Cudi.

2010: J. Cole, Pill, Nipsey Hussle, Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, OJ da Juiceman, Jay Rock, Fashawn, and Donnis.

2011: Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T., Cyhi the Prynce, Lil Twist, Yelawolf, Fred the Godson, Mac Miller, YG, Lil B, Kendrick Lamar, and Diggy Simmons.

2012: Future, Kid Ink, Danny Brown, French Montana, Macklemore, Don Trip, Machine Gun Kelly, Hopsin, Iggy Azalea, and Roscoe Dash.

'11 is probably the best year imo, followed by '10 and '13.

 

Are you kidding? This list looks way better than 2015 imo, certainly doesn't measure up to any of the years you mentioned yet at a glance however.

They're all pretty unique artists but they all have a lot of potential. Only time will tell but personally I vibe with Desiigner, Playboi Carti, Kirk Knight, Mick Jenkins and Bryson Tiller. A lot of them don't have a solid body of work to represent them though.
