2013, its made a new me

Ok so I haven't been in personal support in a while and I'd just like to check in, so my life has become alot better in the past 8-10 months, and I'd like to thank alot of you guys for it.

This is not a bragging thread, just an update.

I've grown a bit in height since I last checked in I was 180cm, I'm now alot closer to 186cm but I'm enbracing it, my friend convinced me to join a gym back in may I'm loving it, its making me eat healthier its making me become a better person and respect people more and judge people alot less. I've also got a girlfriend this year, we've been dating for a bit over 8 months and it has made my confidence levels rise to an all time high and its great.

I've also moved groups at school I used to be in this group that had bullied me every day, I now have quite bad anxiety but I've moved to a group that respects me and its so great. They seem to be all girls, but its fine with me they always make me feel respected its great.

I also got crew trainer at work, it makes me feel so good even though its something so small it ment the world for me.

I'll finish editing this later.

EDIT: Doing this has been hard, but the work has really paid off, I'm playing RuneScape more than ever and loving it, but I go to school 5 days a week (just highschool) but my marks have improved alot, but handling school/work/gym/hardcore runescape addiction is pretty hard but I'm handling it.

EDIT 26/8/13: Broke up with GF of 8 months about 2 days ago, I've been a bit down, but did a big leg day at the gym has put me in a better mood for the night, but my proscration is getting worse and worse, but I'm slowly working on it and I started nofap so I'll also see how this goes.
But this weekend I'm going to my first (real) party, a friend from works' 18th, I'm a bit younger than most of the people going but I'll see how it goes. Hopefully its great.

It's good that you've made these changes, I think you'll find in the long run
(you've kind of already had a semi-long run but regardless) that everything is slightly more positive. I really need to hit the gym man, I keep putting it off.

Congratulations on your new life, the gym is the best isn't it? Pump all your troubles away or at least release it on the bar , it's nice reading happier stories for a change and not just problems all the time, now it really feels like a support thread where advice that that has been given out has actually worked. Congratulations man. One of the toughest challenges in life is dealing with other people and it really defines a person in the way they handle situations like such.

Seems you've done right, and kudos to you for making your life what you wanted and not letting other people define who/what you are and what you're going to become.

It's great you've made better friends because that will only build your confidence up more and more. The improvements in your life will make your anxiety better, I have social anxiety and I can barely look my teachers in the eye to ask for help or something but the more I do things that make me happy the better it gets and it will only get better for you, keep doing what you're doing buddy.

Once I found a real self-respect back in the early middle school days, the confidence boost really helped me become a better person, friend, student, etc. Not worrying about others' opinions too much is a real weight off your shoulders, yea?

Keep it up, find the right priorities for you (not what others think you should be doing), and I think you'll be on the fast track to more of a good thing

You guys don't know how much this means to me.

 

Keep your chin up over the gf situation and just generally try to keep your confidence up. It's great to see some positives this year for some people.

 

It's always good to see someone post a while later with an update. I'm glad everything worked out buddy
