2012 Whatcha all think?>

There's probably a thread about this somewhere but meh couldn't see it in this section so im unsure of where else it would be.


Basically short question

Do you beleive in the 2012 rumours?

I used to think they sounded absurd, Not now. I did a little research into it when i had to perform a talk at my college about something i found interesting. I chose this because it seemed easy to rake up a load of bull shit to last 15 minutes

Anyways after reading into nostradamus, Merlin(Not the wizard), The mayans and i think there was some chick in greece or something too. I started thinking hmmm This is fairly weird. Theres also some ancient chinese calendar that ends on 2012 also. Two calendars from two highly advanced ancient civilisations(Spell Check).

Also I heard somewhere(probably bull shit) that somewhere in the bible theres a message saying 'The yellow man shall ruin the earth' Or something like a code or some shit, Kinda made me think 2012, Who's the super power comming up? China. Who's completely crazy? North Korea, THIS IS NOT MENT TO BE RACIST, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE OFFENSE. Some people refer to asian people as yellow, I personally don't seem to find what's offensive about it, White people arn't really paper white, as black people arn't exactly pitch black but whatever. Anyways, I may be talking out my ass and been fed a load of bull shit info but what do you all think?

Highly advanced ancient civilizations... Isn't that a contradiction...? How is something that's ancient supposed to be advanced...? Also, for the bible passage, I don't think that the yellow man referred to Asians, because that title wasn't given to them back then... But really, where are you getting all this information? Please provide links to the following;
-Ancient Chinese Calendar
-Yellow Man Bible reference.

umm nostradamus isnt exactly legit. many people believe that his predictions are right, but most of what he predicted is super vague and could be inferred with anything. take example of his prediction of 9/11 attacks...

 

The mayans were astronomicaly more advanced than us in many diffrent ways, Just because our technology has advanced doesn't mean that our philosophical beleifs are most advanced.

The yellow man bible bit may be false I can't remember where i heard it so it could of just been passing comment and I picked it up wrong.

The chinese calendar I'll have a look for it now, Seen it on a 2012 video i watched a while back.

It's the fact that it's not just nostradamus, Many doomsayers over the years like for example Merlin who was some guy that lived in the forrest in england centurys ago predicted it also. If it was just nostradamus I would be a lot more skeptical.

There just isn't proof.. I don't believe it will end. I highly doubt a civilization, thousands of years before us, could predict the end of the world with science. Maybe by religious beliefs they did, but not with hard facts.
