Lets date back to nona's arch I belive the same thing has happened before and that these where selected people chosen To continue. Now the bible Sorry to all you God belivers But i think this 2012 has happened Many and many of times. You see the people that where on nona arch have memeory of what a bad place the earth was before the flood this is why they bullshitted about god , writhing the ten commandments and the bible to try and make the earth a better place. Then im sure u have all seen the book of eli world lost control that the bible he's like the black nona. I personaly think there trying to show us whats gonna happen .

Gigantic space shuttle = Where you gonna go? mars? neptune? out of the galaxy to no were. In search for food, water, rehabitation?

Lol I can't believe this has gone on for as long as it has. I find it absolutely insane that anyone can put so much faith in an idea created by a civilization that died out centuries ago. As for the Mayan calender ending, did you know that there were grandfather clocks made in the 1930s-1950s that you could set dates on. These dates ended on December of 1999 at the LATEST because they beleived the world would blow up then. (y20k in a way, except that had to do with electricity.) I think they had the same idea as the Mayans: there minds just couldnt hold the capacity of knowledge that the world could survive. After watching "The Knowing" it seemed VERY possible to me, though the whole "Aliens coming to get the new Adam and Eve" thing just seemed absolutely fucktarded. So, I suppose to an extent, I do beleive the world COULD end. Though, like Socking said, people might end the world themselves just by thinking the world will end. I have to say that is a VERY high probability. :\ Also, the exact date ALWAYS changes when someone tells the story. Some say december 12, some say 23rd, some say 11, but I beleive if it WERE to happen, it would be on 12-12-12. That would be the last year EVER (unless they added more months which I HIGHLY doubt theyd ever do >.>) to have the same month, year, and day on the calender. But, all in all, I think that if it happens, which i have more of a doubt of it happening then I think it will, then we just have to live and stay with family. :\ If a solar flare came, we couldnt escape. It would mostl ikely wipe out the entire solar system, which would take an estimated 50 years to escape. Thats just my veiws on this...

All these movies and ideas make money off of common occurrences that people don't understand or know about until we put it in an apocalyptic scenario.
Like "The Knowing" sun-bursts are common, one that can reach earth with that kind of force is probable. It's actually very probable within a small scale but in a much larger percentage system it's very low.

The fact is, no calendar is able to predict the future. Neither are movies. Any information being based off these calendars is just as valid as if i were to write my own prophecy. Just like the guy in his video seemed to do.
