2007 Runescape Sub sections

What I'm trying to say is, that the section will be dead at least until the server is released.
There's no need to make one now, I believe.

When it is released, I see no problem with a new section for the 07servers

 

Please visit the runescape general section. 2007 Runescape is all people are talking about, so what's the harm in making the section now?

 

this is my point, I feel like all of the talk about the 07 scape. Is flooding out what might try and be conversations about runescape 2013. Also because there are no official threads there are 2000 threads about the same thing.

Nice suggestion MMA I know I myself am really excited for RuneScape 2007 to come out. I agree that we should add something specific to RuneScape 2007, but I'm not sure that we should add an armada of sections related to each aspect of the game as we have for RuneScape currently.

In my opinion, we should add one section under the RuneScape category (preferably below RuneScape General). It'd look like this:

RuneScape (category)
-> RuneScape General
-> RuneScape 2007
-> RuneScape Cheating
-> RuneScape Free Guides

Inside that one subsection, people would be allowed to discuss cheating, market-related, and game development topics. If it grows, we can always add more sections to accommodate for the interest.

Holy crap, that would be some serious subforum-ception :laugh: . I don't know if RuneScape Classic should be under RuneScape 2007 because in my opinion, they aren't really that related to each other.

I think I understand what you're saying, and I agree to an extent. However, I know that we have been trying to expand lately, and I think we need to take action in regards to RuneScape 2007 to hook in the new community before a new forum-hub takes over. The threads popping up about RuneScape 2007 would be enough to fill up the RuneScape 2007 section, and as the date of its release comes closer, the section would probably get more active.

I actually like the category within runescape general alot. I support that as well.

The relation is older runescape versions, and if its not subsectioned it should be deleted because its dead dead dead

 

it was most likely getting added upon release, no need for this thread in my opinion. rs 2007 isn't even released yet

 

It's coming either way though and there should be at least one section for 07 rs only.

 

I support this, since the boom current popularity could easily fill a couple of pages in a new section.

 

Oh sorry >_< I think get what you mean now and that makes sense. This whole time I've really been thinking of RS 2007 as a whole new game (sort of). I felt that it's new in the sense that they're making everyone start from scratch. Also, yeah I agree that the RS Classic section is dead

 

I agree with this, but it's still kinda early.

Yes it's going to be coming but not for a month or two, i'd say open a 07 section now, like the rs2general but 07scape general section.

Then a few days before release put a 07scape market in for buying/selling items/gold/services as this will be very big.

This is HUGE and it's all the big RS youtubers have been talking about. As for sythe, i'm sure that more than 50% of the rs community will drop EoC and start playing on the 07 server. It's going to grow more popular than EoC rs

It'll attract traffic to the site, people will be looking for discussion, no doubt. The markets don't need added, but at least an RS07 section inside of RS Gen would help.

 

Arguably the 2007 section would be more popular than the actual EoC section ;P

 

Yea the market sections can wait but this will for sure drive traffic and there's plenty of threads and discussion going on right now to warrant a section.

 

I'm sure there will be different sections anyway because EOCscape will be pretty much nonexistent. I support though.
