200 USD Name Changes.

This won't change... it works fine as it is so leave it as it is... plenty of people pay it and change their names.

 

It's a little obvious he doesn't want to lose his 2008 join date if he just creates a new account.

$200 is a lot but it is designed to stop anyone being able to change their name so easily (otherwise we would all have different names by now).

I also made my account when I was really young and am now in my late 20's. I don't go by this name anywhere but Sythe, either. Quite frankly, I think my own name is stupid, but who cares?

I don't run a business here. Anything I buy or sell is for personal use. I'm a $300 donator and didn't do it all at once. I slowly donate as I sell things. Matter of fact, I just sold an account the other day and donated another $100.

Buy a ticket to take the ride. 2020 is full of crybabies.

I paid the $200 specifically for the name change. I personally don't care.

I understand that you are unhappy with your name change request being denied, however, we will not be making changes to the current system. Name changes are not treated lightly as its a serious change to your profile. To combat this, major name changes are gated behind the upper tiers of our donor system.

As mentioned in your denial response and our PM conversation, you're welcome to create a new account with the name you desire or you can simply achieve the donor tier required for your name change.
