20 or 30 def

Is it worth it to quest my initiate pure to 30 def for a hand-cannon if I'm going to stay at 52 prayer. I'm dunging to 80 right now for a rapier or maybe a ccbow but the extra def could help me get through the dungs faster and with my account at 80 attack 99str 99hp the deference in the 2 is only 2cmb levels it seems like such a great idea but I also feel like I might be in a def trap right now.(This account used to be a def pure until i saw the cmb level deference for initiate armor.) If anyone has got any advise I would appreciate it and If you not going to give me 95 prayer dont suggest it I cant afford it and I wont ever put all my money into it!!!

the only thing about 35 is it doesnt look to pretty and those things bother me also idk if I honestly want to get the 170ish qp for barrow gloves

40/45 defence is actually your best choice. A lot easier to get armor and MOST IMPORTANTLY you get vengeance.

I'd say 40/45, but if you really want either 20 or 30, I'd say 20. Hand cannon isn't amazing without void/d'hide, and you might as well be initiate then.

so going zerker really is worth it? I figured with a rapier to dds an initiate pure would rape in the wildy. Also I might just get the rune gloves and slayer helm to look super amazing and then see how i feel about the account

Id only go 30 defence for turm, otherwise stay 20. and make sure you 100% quest your defence
