2 day ban lifted

Hey, I got banned for botting minor a few months back and got an offence on my account. Today when I log into the website the account is all of the sudden clean. And the offence where removed. Happend to anyone else? Or know why?

 

Did you recover the account using the lost account option?

Jagex look to see if the botting offences were on your IP Adress and sometimes remove the offence if they deem that you were not in control of the account at the time

 

Noone but me have been on the acc and I have not tried to recover or made any attempt at getting the offence removed. I did however move in the time from the ban to now, if that would make any difference?

 

I just had a two day mute and now it shows no offence history. I have no clue what's going on.

 

Not sure why it did that, but I wouldn't complain lol. It's always nice to have less black marks if you ever wish to sell the account.

 

How to get a macroing minor ban? The 2 day one. Whenever I hear of people getting banned it's perm.

They don't give out two day bans anymore that was in the past

 

They give out 2 days if they are unsure if you are botting.

 

That was probably a temporary ban while they were investigating your account. If you haven't been banned yet i'd say you're safe. Wouldn't still keep money on that account yet though.

Very strange, I hear people get 2 day banned while botting mini games all the time. Can not confirm though

 

getting a 2 day ban is like perm, ur ip still gets flagged and need another 1 especially for farms

well I mean if jagex knows 1 ip address has 20 accounts all of which are botting, who do u think they will spend their $/time on to monitor?
