Briefly explain the trade: He wanted me to give the username and pass of the account over MSN, so I did as I was the new guy, and he had ~50 posts? He wanted me to log in on his account to verify he had the 55M he offered, then he would meet me in world three on myh other character and trade.
How they scammed:After recieving my pass/username, he logged in on the site and changed the password.
Proof that you were not talking to an impostor:
Got a friend request from a "Rixer OV", [email protected]
Trade screenshots:
As it was just an MSN convo, I'll copy and paste it.

You log on runescape account.
Send username and Password.
I send you my username and Password.
Reason: So you can see I have the 55mill.
We both get are accounts verified by eachother.
We both log off our accounts.
We go back on and meet world 3Lumby.
Reason I like doing this way is that there are no level 3 passwords being given.
We can each verify the accounts.
Zach Spear says
On my other account that I want the GP on, yeah?
Rixer OV says
Yes.
Zach Spear says
So, we exchange info, verify - meet on my other account and your account in world 3 lumby, yeah?
Rixer OV says
yes.
Yes.*&
Sorry typos .
Zach Spear says
and how am I supposed to be sure that you won't change the pass after you log in/
Rixer OV says
Because I am logged in on mine.
Zach Spear says
You won't do half first then half after will you? lol
Rixer OV says

Zach Spear says
Trade 27.5m, get account, trade the rest won't fly?
Rixer OV says
No you could run with 27.5 mill.
Zach Spear says
Alright, we'll do it your way.
Rixer OV says
The other way is the safest because we both get our accounts verified.
Zach Spear says
Alright, lets do it then
Rixer OV says
Aight.
Zach Spear says
Me first?
Rixer OV says
Yes.
Zach Spear says
Name: M*********** Pass: S**********
