Your price range is way too wide of a gap. I'll base my suggestions around the $1200 USD price because every gap of price creates a broad area of the market to consider.

Your objective is to find a high spaced SSD with a 1TB or larger hard drive. The SSD will help support your editing programs to increase their speed tremendously. You should be working with 16GB of RAM, but 8GB of RAM is also fine if it is faster. This price is the point you will start finding high-quality graphic cards, processors, SSDs, screen resolutions, all built into one system. Your decision varies on your opinion of each components importance. If you want a bigger sized SSD, you'll need to invest more into it. If you believe having 16GB of ram is important, then you might have to compensate by getting a slightly weaker graphics card.

    Option A

This laptop has is one of your best possible options for around $1200 dollars. This one has a massive 2TB hard drive to keep all of those extra media files on it but also includes an SSD.

    Option B

You cannot go wrong with this purchase. This would give you everything that you are asking, including a nice resolution for your display. The QHD provides a 1440 resolution and 70% RGB calibration to assist you in your media modifications.

    Option C

You would be giving up SSD space for a high-quality keyboard with a very nice keyboard. It has an awesome GTX 960M 4GB VRAM graphics card which will provide very smooth gameplay and frames per second.

    Option D

The Acer Aspire 791G is an excellent sleek laptop that has a 17.3-inch display and a high end build. If you are not really a fan of the gaming laptop designs, this is a great alternative.
