I think it's more reasonable for the new user who didn't take a simple safety precaution to burden the cost of the scam rather than the user who's Skype was compromised -- it's always been this way.
Maybe an announcement could be pinned to always ask for a PM when conducting a trade to encourage new users to follow proper trading practices.
Does anyone find it hypocritical in the slightest that
1. The reason leanbean wasn't banned for scamming was because there was no PM, even though there is conclusive evidence that Lean was in fact the person who scammed $2,000 and faked his own hacking.
2. Dave sent a PM, only had to pay half even when the victim had the PM
3. Bus = No PM, liability undecided?
