If I have to provide ID when buying 07 gold online, should I block out any of the parts of my driving license for security reasons or would I be ok showing the full thing?

 

The site you purchase from will keep the photo secure and you won't have to worry about having it leaked if that's your concern. They only need it in case of a fraudulent payment.

yea its best to show the full id to the site your purchasing from , its to avoid fraud as decimate said. Your id helps avoid charge backs and also for the sellers safety

 

You can show them the full thing. They can't use it for anything lol. They do that so they know someone is not using another person's account. They also use it as proof incase you try to chargeback after you receive your gold.

The reason why websites require those things is because they need proof incase the buyer opens a dispute after delivering the goods. The only way to tell it's actually you when purchasing is if you send in your entire ID, without covering anything up so they know it's a legal ID and not a fake one. I suggest you only stick to purchasing your items from reputable websites that have been in the business for a while since they have the most experience when it comes to things like ID and you should be fine.
