Western Union

Ok so I'm trying to find the safest and most secure way of selling RSGP on here. I'm from Australia and bitcoins seems a bit too hard because the bitcoin exchanges here are quite limited and I want to avoid multiple transactions. So I was investigating in Western Union..... How does it work? I've just registered an account and confirmed my ID with my Medicare card and Drivers License.
So how do transactions work, is it similar to PayPal? And how do I avoid being chargebacked?

Don't use an exchange for bitcoin. Sell for bitcoin, buy with bitcoin. Then when you need to transfer with fiat you should be able to do it fairly simple with people here through PayPal or what not.

 

I would recommend still looking into bitcoin usage since it is absurdly more convenient. Are you receiving WU online or picking up cash in person?

 

if you fuck with western union, the best way is to just have them go in and send it to your address/name and you go into the store and pick up the cash. Chargebacks aren't even a question if you do it this way.

 

Yeah I want to avoid PayPal at allllll costs though, that's the thing. I don't intend on buying.... ONLY selling.
I am willing to go in and pick up cash, or get it transferred. What's better? I just want 0 chance of a chargeback....

Western union is the only method i have ever accepted. It's absolutely amazing. You just need to give the sender your first and last name, country you live in, state, city, and zipcode. then they give u a mtcn number and their info that they sent the western union with. You go to a western union location fill out the paper with the info they gave you and BAAAAAAM! you have cash enjoy mate and goodluck.

 

THIS is what I'm looking for, thank you Bert! Just out of curiosity.... If I'm selling gold, will I trade the gold over and THEN collect the cash from WU perhaps the next day?

 

No.You must pick it up before delivering gold. Wu transactions can be cancelled when they're not picked up yet.
