The FAQ is still mentioning LiveHelp, even though it doesnt exist anymore.

We could replace the LiveHelp spot for SytheChat?

 

Except nobody is usually on sythechat, let alone moderators.

Neither were / are used much. Just remove it altogether from the FAQ.

 

I think a replacement would be better suit. Only if mods (or anyone for that matter) became more active within. Otherwise as laptop suggests, proviso should be removed as staff can be contacted via other means.

Yeah I don't think removing it will do much good or bad, but I reckon making the sythechat a more interesting thing or mods using it more would up its potential.

 

If the sythechat is showing more activity, as in there are usually a few members in there at any given time, I'd love to see mods make the effort to pop in every once and awhile. Seeing as it's mainly dead, I don't see a use for this atm.

Replacing the LiveHelp spot with SytheChat doesn't necessarily mean we have to talk about mods The LiveHelp is currently in the "Sythe.org and how it works" section which is the perfect section to talk about SytheChat. We could just replace that whole paragraph with its description since it's one of the only thing that isn't in FAQ.

I believe there should be a mention of SytheChat in FAQ to explain what it is and what it does. However, if you guys feel SytheChat shouldn't be in FAQ because of its activity, we should at least remove the whole LiveHelp part

 

I see where you're coming from. As such I think that Sythe Chat should be incorporated in the FAQ so that newer users know about the service. Regardless of whether or not it is currently active.

 

Apparently I can't edit posts in a locked thread. I'll report the thread and ask someone to remove the mentions of it.

 

I'll go ahead and support this. I still think a shoutbox would be the best option, but this is a step in the good direction.
