headphones

Been shopping around for some noise-canceling over the ear headphones, but I've yet to find a pair.

Budget is under $200, preferably about $150

Any suggestions? Mainly going to be used for when I'm working for stuff on campus, but also for long car rides/plane travel/perhaps Playstation VR and/or Oculus

They're nice, but too expensive, I don't think I'll use them enough to justify the price.

I was lucky enough to score a pair for free in the lost and found at my workplace

It's no doubt the best pair of headphones I've ever had. The noise canceling feature is UNREAL. You won't hear a thing when you turn it on.

Made me look into some Bose headphones and I'm now really thinking about the QuietComfort Q3 (opposed to the 15s or 25s). I like the smaller profile and according to reviews they have better sound.

Now it's just a matter of getting them cheap. It's not a matter of saving for them, I just don't want to spend that much on headphones.

Looked at their 270's too, but I don't want a pair that is only passive noise cancellation

Thanks for the suggestion on the QC15's montage, I ended up picking up a pair of Bose QC3's due to the smaller form factor and the rechargeable battery.

Was going to get AGK 490/495 NC headphones (kinda wish I did), but they seem to have some build-reliability issues and break at the headphone crease.

So yeah, bought myself a pair of headphones that's certainly going to be nicer than my current default Apple pair.

Sol republic is pretty good, many colors. wireless ones are $120, wired ones are about 70-80
