He might have, there is no proof that is the problem. He wasn't responsible for the 2000$ which he *MIGHT* have scammed a long time ago.

I just filled out a scam report on him, but what did he get banned for?

 

He confessed to a fake vouch and got a short ban. Then he was being a jerk to the staff and new Admin Jack dropped the banhammer on him. I don't think he broke a big rule or anything, but Sythe did say not to disrespect the staff or there will be consequences.

Haven't really kept up with his specific case but that's meaningless especially since it could easily be added after the scam took place and so-on, or he could've decided to trade with skype and just forgotten to remove it. Him having to refund is dependent on a few things one of the major ones being if a PM was sent through his account.

Can't find his dispute but I swear he made one, pretty sure he has to refund though.

ye, i guess that makes sense. so im guessing if you get hacked you have to pay back anyone who was scammed no matter what? seems harsh but it helps the people who got scammed at the same time so i dunno how i really feel about it

 

Not always there are certain circumstances, usually if your skype is hacked but your Sythe account wasn't you will not be required to refund due to the fact that it may not be your fault and the person didn't receive a verification PM from your profile.

 

To clarify I was merely obliging his request, he is entitled to dispute the ban properly. Too many people take him serious when it's all an elaborate troll that everyone falls for, I find him quite entertaining and have had banter with him on several occasions.

 

What happened to FBEGFX, he just got banned a bit ago.

this true? i got banned for this (skype was hacked but the guy was very clearly a hacker as he was going on about how he lost 2fa etc and so did the trade) but i still got banned? My account hadn't been logged in on sythe since september so he wasnt on my account on sythe either, but i still had to refund to get unbanned. how would my situation be changed for that not to happen? the guy obviously never got a pm
